1 of the largest fine art museums betwixt Chicago and the West Coast! Don't let the lxx,000 works of art overwhelm you and option a few exhibitions/floors to check out. Lockers bachelor behind the stairs.

Information technology takes about viii-10 hours to run across everything they accept to offering. I spent five hours in that location and only saw sixty% of it! Their Native American & Asian art exhibits were incredible...best I've seen yet!
-
The Denver Art Museum is practically overflowing with keen exhibits. Asian, Western American, Modernistic, and the excellent American Indian gallery. Don't forget "Flim-flam Games". Information technology'south a fantastic must see.

While the rotating exhibits are definitely the draw here, there are also fantastic displays of Native American/Western fine art. Be certain to cross the bridge into the side by side building to see it all.

Great museum and an easy walk from downtown. The Degas exhibition was only starting and its spectacular!!
-
One of the all-time art museums I've been to. The Asian Fine art Flooring alone is worth the trip — but accept your time and definitely accept pictures. And so cute.
-
Coming from DC, free museums are everywhere so having to pay for any museum is disappointing. Just, these exhibits sounded actually groovy and was actually a prissy feel + worth the cost to visit!!!

Groovy activities for kids (a scavenger chase, hands-on art studio and other fun stuff) throughout the museum. A nice mix of modernistic, gimmicky and historical artworks.

Smashing exhibits, my favorites are of the American Westward! Take your time, spend a piddling extra for featured exhibits and have a great mean solar day, especially during a complimentary ane ;)

They have Bouguereaus, Oldenbergs, a Monet, the Chapman Brothers, Barbara Kruger and even a sculpture past Yoshitomo Nara! Plus a solid floor defended to Asian art.

Disappointing Degas exhibit, but actually neat building. Otherwise a lot of animal art, American, and Asian fine art during my visit. There's a parking garage right next to the museum. two$/hour.
