When Sonic and Mario come across in a game, it should be intense; mountains should rising and fall from the conflict. Y'all get a sense of something ballsy near to happen in the opening cinematic of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, simply so y'all play the game and realize this historic pairing has been wasted on a quick cash-in of the 2008 Olympic Games. From skeet shooting (where y'all have to click a button while a cherry dot moves beyond a heart to try to increase the size of your aiming reticle) to javelin throwing (where you lot have to again heighten the Wiimote while holding two buttons), each event is a good thought ruined by crappy controls that either don't make sense, are lazy, or don't give you much actual command or feedback. Each character is supposed to be rated based on things like skill and speed, but there is bodily way to tell what that ways in the game; it feels meaningless. I plant that I did just about the aforementioned in each upshot no thing who I picked, including my own Mii.

This is a cheap, slow game that exploits Mario, Sonic, and the Olympics. It could accept been great, but as it stands this may be a fun rental before everyone gets bored of reading directions and unhooking the nunchuk just to re-claw information technology an outcome later (the game won't simply let yous keep information technology continued).
